Blackberry
Cingular Setup
If
you do not use a Blackberry Enterprise Server, please follow the steps below to
set-up the blackberry via the webmail client:
Please
note that the Username and Password will be emailed to you.
1. Log into the Cingular blackberry webmail client website:
http://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular (cingular wireless)
username:
_____ (blackberry inventory ID)
password:
_____ (will be emailed to you)
2.
Click "Setup Account."
3. Fill in the fields:
a. email address (example: yourname@yahoo.com)
b. password (your password to access your email)
d. re-enter your password.
4 . Click on "NEXT"
5. If asked, Select the appropriate 'email server' option:
6.Click on "SUBMIT"
7.Type
in “EMAIL SERVER” (ie: imap.ionix.net)
{if asked}
(note:
in some cases your "Username" will be your entire email address)
9.Click
on “SUBMIT”
From the Device: Main Menu: Go to Options, then Service Book and delete old
customer email accounts (keep the yahoo-test account).
